FLOODS OF HOMEWORK
hol·i·day–noun:any day of exemption from work
i got the meaning from a dictionary. so its really correct.
EXEMPTION FROM WORK
work-noun: effort directed to produce something
WE NEED TO PUT IN EFFORT TO COMPLETE OUR HOMEWORK AND PROJECTS!!
which means homework and projects qualify to be called as WORK.
this one week in MARCH is called the MARCH HOLIDAYS!!
as i already mentioned holiday is exemption from work.
which means teachers are NOT allowed to give us anything that we have to put EFFORT in during the holidays which includes HOMEWORK and PROJECTS. but why are we flooded with homework and projects when holidays are meant for EXEMPTION FROM WORK???
so is it the teachers who are wrong or the name that is given for this so-called one-week "break" is wrong?
this "break" certainly do not qualify to be called as MARCH HOLIDAYS. so there's no point giving us exemption from work for there will always be work. just called it a "do-homework-and-projects-at-home -day" and make the whole world gay and happy
